POLJOPRIVREDNI OBRT vl. Anđelko Krnjak, has been engaged in production since 2007, and as a continuation of the family farm Krnjak, where my father, grandfather and generations before them were engaged in production.
We also see a modern upgrade in the Krnjak agricultural trade for my son Marcel Krnjak, who is studying agronomy in Križevci. The agricultural trade currently employs 3 workers, the whole family (6 members), and, if necessary, seasonal workers.
We have been registered as an agricultural trade (register) since 2007, and since 2012 we have been in the corporate income tax system (R1 taxpayer). Agricultural craft has its own agricultural area of approx. 90 hectares, on which he produces vegetables and cereals, while potatoes are produced on approx. 45 acres.
We harvest potatoes with our own machinery. We store the harvested fresh potatoes in our own refrigerator, we have our own packaging space and a packaging line and all the necessary equipment.
Since 2020, the agricultural craft Anđelko Krnjak has specialized in new supermodern storage of potatoes without the use of Tuberte (chlorpropham), an active substance that reduces the breathing intensity of potato tubers.
The agricultural craft Anđelko Krnjak is gradually turning to grow potatoes in an organic way of production, and this is shown by the storage of potatoes as the first producer in the Republic of Croatia to store potatoes only at a sustainable temperature, without any gases or powders. We can deliver fresh vegetables in various packages, all according to the agreement and the customer’s needs.
