We make sure that the adventure started in the vineyard brings new life to our tables. So it turned out that winemakers have the main say. The oenologist and the two owners share a love of beauty in wine. Fine, fragrant, harmonious… such are the wines of the Kaptol winery. We want to give them all the attention they deserve.
The wine is dark red in colour, accompanied by the luxurious aroma of blackberries and blueberries, which continues with a taste that has a soft tannic structure. It is the blending of two top varieties of Cabernet Franc and Merlot that achieves the perfect harmony of taste, and with the ageing of the wine in barrique barrels, a note of complexity is added. Due to tannins and their pleasant tartaric acids, we combine red cuvée wine with red meat such as medium-roasted beefsteak or rump steak, venison, lamb and bluefish. Also, some heavier and more aromatic cheeses are a perfect choice with cuvée.
Welchriesling from the Kaptol position is a light, drinkable wine, with delicate fruit aromas and green apples that are intertwined with the light scent of linden flowers. It is characterized by vivid yellowish-green colour and ideal ratios of sugars and acids. Welchriesling is a very versatile wine and goes well with pasta dishes with creamy sauces and white meat, cold dishes of river fish and seafood. It also goes well with cured meat delicacies and soft light cheeses.
An elegant, drinkable, fluttering wine that offers a special experience, it is intertwined with the fragrant vortex of forest beans. A balanced ratio of acids and sugars and a lower alcohol content are a winning combination for everyday enjoyment of this wine. The ideal ratio of merlot and cabernet sauvignon enables this perfect balance and a particularly blending note, which is why he received the title of ambassador of the winery. The delicate pink colour that wins at first glance was obtained by a short maceration lasting several hours. This wine goes perfectly with shrimp and shrimp in various sauces, as well as with grilled meat or Caesar salad.
Greenish-yellow wine with an aromatic profile dominated by fresh fruity aromas of apple and citrus. The taste is very harmonious with the recognizable refreshing finish. Its adaptable taste is easy to blend with many delicious dishes such as cheese-based pasta, boiled beef, vegetable stew or cooked white fish.

It tastes lively, intertwined with light fresh finishes. Obtained by a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon in equal proportions, which gives rise to a light berry scent. Its moderate fullness blends with the taste of pork, lasagna or meatballs.
