The production plant of the Dražin family has a long tradition of salting and marinating fish, more precisely since 2013. An unusual combination of anchovies and red peppers created our patented product – Pepefiš.

The mission of Riba Dražin is a combination of the best domestic raw materials, old ways of preparation and modern gastronomy.

PEPEFIŠ

Pepefiš is a product created by an unusual combination of marinated anchovies and red peppers. Sweet and sour hot, red peppers are stuffed with rolled anchovy fillets. They are arranged in jars and topped with olive oil. Pepefiš is obtained, a product with a beautiful appearance and exceptional taste that will satisfy even the most demanding tastes. It can be served with homemade bread, cheese and wine where its taste will come to the fore and give a real gastronomic pleasure. Pepefiš is a protected product in the Republic of Croatia and on the international market. Riba Dražin is the sole owner of the patented recipe.

Pepefiš was designed by Mr Živko Dražin, who is a frequent visitor to fairs and wherever he appears, he especially attracts visitors who want local products but prepared in a different way and with special flavours.

RIBA DRAŽIN ACCORDING TO TRADITIONAL RECIPE PREPARES THE FOLLOWING:

• octopus salad
• marinated anchovy fillets
• marinated saddled seabream fillets 
• marinated shrimps
• salted anchovy fillets
• cleaned salted anchovies
• canned olives from our own olive grove
• canned capers
• caper flower in oil
• rock samphire in yeast
• dried tomatoes
• olives stuffed with almonds
• fish pate
